IMPORTANT NOTICE Re:  Easton 30/20 Ghost X bat

BPRBA has been informed of a statement issued by Easton informing the public that their Easton Ghost X, 30” -10 USA Baseball bat (model #’s YBB18GX10 30/20 & LL18GHX 30/20 Japan model) is no longer certified or approved by USA Baseball.   Please note - while we make no comment as to the validity of the decertification, due to the loss of USA bat certification, this bat cannot be used at any BPRBA game or practice.

As we understand the situation according to the statement, if you purchased one of these bats, Easton will provide a pre-paid mailing label that you can use to return it to Easton. Upon receipt of your bat, Easton will send you via email a one-time use electronic voucher with a value up to $500 to compensate you for your bat and your inconvenience.  The voucher can be used toward another Easton bat and/or any other products on up to $500 before May 31, 2019.

To return your bat and receive your voucher, Easton suggested contacting them at 1-844-531-7079, or email us at Please do not contact the BPRBA regarding this matter.

The complete statement issued by Easton can be found here:

The BPRBA believes it is important to alert you of the information we have been provided regarding this matter.  The BPRBA, however, does not take any responsibility toward remedying this situation on behalf of anyone in our league who may have been impacted and makes no explicit or implicit representations as to the validity of the decertification or about Easton or Easton products.

Attention K - 6th grade BPRBA families

The Bedford Pound Ridge Baseball Association will be adopting the 2018 Little League bat rule changes.

This impacts all players in our program from kindergarten through 6th grade.  Bat rules for the 7th - 10th grade are unchanged.

The change is intended to improve the safety of all players by making all the non-wood bats impact the ball similarly to wooden bats.

As of January 2018,  all bats that are not on the approved list are banned for practices and games.  Here is the list of approved bats
